Our services are based on navigation-related software:
qtVlm
This is a navigation and routing software program (free on Windows!) from Meltemus. It includes numerous features such as GRIB file support, the ability to display multiple charts (see the page dedicated to charts), integration of polar charts, performance analysis, AIS management, and more… It communicates with your onboard instruments and features a powerful routing module.
This software is available on Windows, Mac OS, Linux, Raspberry, IOS, Android. This YouTube playlist showcases some of qtVlm’s features.
We offer training courses on how to use this software. Click here => Training page
Moodsailor
Moodsailor is a free, ad-free app developed to provide a service without asking for anything in return (yes, it’s possible!). Among other things, this app gives you access to:
- OpenSeaMap, a simplified nautical chart that still includes key data
- Add and create markers on the map
- Set waypoints and plan a route
- Download your sailing area to use it offline
- View onboard instruments on your phone
- Manage a Man Overboard (MOB) point
- Monitor your anchorage
- Get the weather forecast for your area
- And best of all, what I think is great: having navigational marks and AIS data overlaid on your phone’s camera or your phone or tablet’s camera when you point it in a certain direction
